Case Study - Christchurch, Dorset
A phased roof renewal on an occupied residential block in Christchurch for Sovereign Network Group, completed with Marley Mendip tiles, new breathable membrane and upgraded battens.
01 The brief
The existing roofs on the residential block had reached the end of their service life. Because residents remained in place throughout the work, the project needed careful phasing, safe access and clear day-to-day coordination.
Up Top Roofing handled the roofing and scaffolding in-house, allowing the team to move section by section without waiting on outside trades. The roof was stripped back, upgraded to meet current regulations and rebuilt with breathable membrane, compliant battens and Marley Mendip tiles.
02 What we did
Designed and installed full scaffolding around the residential block.
Phased the works to keep disruption down and maintain safe resident access.
Stripped the old roofing materials and prepared the roof structure.
Installed new breathable membrane and upgraded battens.
Fitted Marley Mendip tiles with ridge, verge, leadwork and rainwater details completed to a consistent standard.
